Terms of Service

Effective September 1, 2026  ·  Last updated September 1, 2026

These terms govern the use of Bucktooth Mail. The short version: send only to people who asked to hear from you, honor every unsubscribe immediately, and do not use this service to do anything you would not want read back to you in a courtroom. The long version follows.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Sentinel Holdings I LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing bucktoothmail.com, logging in to send.bucktoothmail.com, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Bucktooth Mail is

Bucktooth Mail is an email sending and deliverability service. It lets an authorized operator authenticate sending domains, build and preview messages, manage recipient lists and suppression lists, schedule and throttle delivery, and measure whether the resulting mail reached the inbox.

Access to the sending application is granted by us to specific operators. The Service is not open for public self-registration, and nothing on this website is an offer to provide the Service to the general public.

We transmit outbound mail through a third-party email infrastructure provider. We are a conduit and a control layer — we do not originate, author, or endorse the content of messages sent by an operator through the Platform.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” includes it.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for everything done under your account. Keep your password secret, enable two-factor authentication, do not share logins, and tell us at once if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require credential rotation or additional verification where we think an account is at risk.

4. Acceptable use

This section is the heart of the agreement. An email platform lives or dies on what its senders do, and these rules are enforced.

Do not send unsolicited commercial email. Every recipient must have given express consent to receive email from the sender, or otherwise have a relationship that makes the message lawful under applicable law. Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended, or co-registered lists without genuine consent are not permitted.

You may not use the Service to:

  • Send to addresses obtained without consent, including scraped, harvested or purchased lists
  • Send to any address on a suppression list, or to any recipient who has unsubscribed or complained
  • Falsify, forge, or obscure header information, sender identity, return path, or routing data
  • Use a deceptive subject line, sender name, or preview text, or otherwise misrepresent who is writing or why
  • Omit a functioning unsubscribe mechanism or a valid physical postal address
  • Send phishing, malware, ransomware, credential harvesting, or any message designed to deceive a recipient into surrendering information or money
  • Promote illegal goods or services, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that infringes another party's rights
  • Evade spam filters, blocklists, rate limits, authentication requirements, or any provider's enforcement — including by rotating domains or identities to escape a reputation problem rather than fix it
  • Circumvent the Platform's own suppression, consent, throttling or compliance controls
  • Access the Service by any automated means we have not authorized, probe or test its security, or interfere with its operation
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to a third party without our written agreement

We may monitor sending patterns, complaint rates, bounce rates and content for compliance with this section. We are not obliged to monitor, and doing so does not make us responsible for any message.

5. Sender obligations

If you send through the Service, you are the sender for legal purposes, and you are responsible for compliance with every law that applies to your message and your recipients. That includes, without limitation, the CAN-SPAM Act, applicable state email and consumer protection statutes, and applicable privacy laws.

You represent and warrant, for every message you send, that:

  • Each recipient consented to receive it, and you can produce evidence of that consent — the source, date, IP address and page where it was collected
  • Header information and sender identity are accurate and not misleading
  • The subject line accurately reflects the content
  • The message identifies itself as an advertisement where the law requires it
  • The message contains a valid physical postal address of the sender
  • The message contains a clear, functioning unsubscribe mechanism
  • You hold the rights to all content, images and trademarks in the message

You must retain consent records for as long as you mail an address, and for a reasonable period afterwards. We may ask you to produce them, and we may suspend sending until you do.

6. Unsubscribes and suppression

Unsubscribe requests are processed automatically and take effect immediately. The address is added to a suppression list and excluded from every subsequent send. You may not remove an address from a suppression list, re-import a suppressed address, or attempt to mail a suppressed recipient through another route.

We also apply master suppression feeds and per-offer suppression lists to outbound mail. If an address is suppressed, it is not mailed — there is no override, and requesting one is itself a breach of these Terms.

A recipient who unsubscribes or reports a message as spam has told us something we take seriously. Sustained complaint rates above the thresholds published by major mailbox providers are grounds for suspension under section 12, because they endanger every other sender on the Platform.

7. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the contact data, message content and creative you put into the Platform. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit and display that material solely to operate the Service for you, and to retain the minimum records described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the legal right to upload and use any contact data you load into the Platform, and for providing your recipients with whatever privacy notice the law requires from you.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including our email infrastructure provider, hosting provider, DNS provider and mailbox-provider reputation tools. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own acceptable use policies, and an action taken by one of them — a rate limit, a suspension, a blocklisting — may affect the Service regardless of anything we do.

Where you connect a third-party account to the Platform, you authorize us to access that account only to the extent the granted permissions allow, and only for the purpose described at the time you connect it. You may revoke that access at any time.

9. No deliverability guarantee

We do not guarantee that any message will be delivered, reach an inbox, avoid a spam folder, or be opened. Mailbox providers decide independently what to accept and where to place it, using criteria they do not publish and change without notice.

The Service provides authentication, list hygiene, throttling, reputation monitoring and diagnostics designed to give mail the best chance of being delivered. That is materially different from a guarantee, and nothing on this website, in the Platform, or in any communication from us should be read as one. Statistics and reputation data shown in the Platform are estimates derived from third-party sources and from signals that can be blocked, proxied or faked; they are indicative, not authoritative.

We make no representation that use of the Service will result in any particular open rate, click rate, revenue, or business outcome.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and may perform maintenance that makes it temporarily unavailable. We will give reasonable notice of planned changes that materially reduce functionality where it is practical to do so.

We may change these Terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide more prominent notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, the Bucktooth Mail name and logo, the software, and the design and content of this website are owned by Sentinel Holdings I LLC and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the Service, or remove any proprietary notice from it.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, or stop or cancel a send in progress, immediately and without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

  • These Terms — particularly section 4 or section 5 — have been breached
  • Complaint, bounce or spam-trap rates threaten the reputation of the Platform or its domains
  • Continued sending would expose us or a third party to legal liability or to a blocklisting
  • An account has been compromised, or activity on it appears fraudulent
  • A provider, mailbox operator or authority requires it

Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you what happened and what would resolve it. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 7, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 16 — survive it.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. No advice or information obtained from us creates any warranty not expressly stated here.

Nothing in these Terms is legal advice. Compliance with email, marketing and privacy law is your responsibility, and you should take your own counsel.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTINEL HOLDINGS I LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR SENDER REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sentinel Holdings I LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, liability, damage, penalty, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of the Service; your content or contact data; your breach of these Terms or of any representation in section 5; or your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party, including any claim brought by a recipient or by a regulator in connection with a message you sent.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Any claim must be brought within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law allows such a limit. Each party waives any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.

17. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and supersede any prior understanding on the subject. If a provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship.
